Mr. Lefebvre has worked for 31 years as a policeman in the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). He started his career in Alberta where he occupied different positions such as patroller, investigator and member of the GTI or Tactical Intervention Group. At the end of the 1990s he was transferred to Quebec for a job in the ERM (Regional Squad). He was in charge of several major cases involving organized crime. He also worked in the field of national security, border integrity and criminal intelligence. He has extensive experience in surveillance, controlling informers and interviewing. Before leaving the RCMP, Mr. Lefebvre was responsible for detachments to Drummondville and Trois-Rivières. For many years now, Mr. Lefebvre has been involved in his community in order to help families in need. He has been a police sponsor for Estacades Midget AAA hockey for 10 years and president of the Mauricie Cycling Club (CCM) for 2 years.
